Deuba reviews ministerial performance of Nepali Congress representatives



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has sought updates on the performance of ministries led by Nepali Congress representatives in the government.

During a meeting of the party’s parliamentary working committee held at his private residence in Budhanilkantha, Deuba called on ministers to provide a detailed briefing on their progress and plans.

Speaking after the meeting, Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary said that the discussion focused on evaluating ministry achievements and strategies for future initiatives.

“The President has reviewed the performance of the ministries under Nepali Congress leadership. Ministers have shared updates on their work, and discussions centered on improving effectiveness and setting priorities,” said Chaudhary.

The meeting also touched upon the ordinance introduced by the government.

“The General Secretary presented information about the ordinance, but there was no extensive debate on the matter,” he said.
