Ryoko Gakuen donates PPE to Koshi Zonal Hospital



KATHMANDU: A Japan-based institute has distributed medical items including personal protective equipment (PPE) to Koshi Zonal Hospital in Biratnagar

Ryoko Gakuen, Tokyo Office, Japan, handed the medical goods to the hospital through Nepali Congress leader Dr Shekhar Koirala.

Mani Khadka, chief of Gakuen office in Tokyo informed that medical items including 10 pieces of PPE  were handed over to the hospital following reports that Nepal has been facing scarcity of PPE.

State 1 is the worst-hit in terms of Coronavirus infection cases with over 29 cases. Most of the infected with the novel virus have been undergoing treatment at Koshi Zonal Hospital.
