The agreement was finalized during a meeting held at Singha Durbar on Thursday evening between Prime Minister and Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chair of UML KP Sharma Oli, and Chair of RSP Rabi Lamichhane.

According to the agreement, CPN-UML will appoint ambassadors to eight posts, while RSP and Maoist Center will appoint ambassadors to two and one post, respectively.

Recently, the government recalled 11 ambassadors from various countries, including India, the USA, the UK, South Korea, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, and Israel.

These ambassadors were initially appointed by the Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government when the Nepali Congress was part of the ruling coalition.
