Govt carrying out effective job in terms of relief and rehabilitation: PM



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli has asserted that the government is fully committed to relief and rehabilitation efforts following recent flooding, landslides, and inundation.

He made these remarks while receiving a memorandum detailing the loss of life and property due to the disasters in Sindhuli district, presented by the CPN-UML Sindhuli District Committee at his official residence in Baluwatar today.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister announced that a decision was made in the latest Council of Ministers and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council meeting to expedite relief and rehabilitation efforts, including establishing a clear timetable for implementation.

PM Oli urged all stakeholders to carry out their responsibilities confidently, dismissing any misleading narratives spread by those seeking to incite anarchy and instability.

He emphasized that the government and its agencies are working tirelessly for the benefit of those affected by the disasters.
