KATHMANDU: The opposition parties have decided to submit a memorandum to the government on October 21 regarding the recent natural disaster.

A leader who participated in the meeting of the opposition parties held at the Parliament Building in New Baneswar on Friday stated that the memorandum will include various suggestions related to the recent political developments and the disaster.

The opposition aims to address the delays in relief and rescue efforts for the flood victims.

“It has been decided that the leaders of the opposition parties will meet with the Prime Minister to submit the memorandum on October 21,” the leader noted.

Additionally, the meeting included discussions about convening a special session of Parliament.
