Three among those killed in Trishuli bus plunge identified  



SARLAHI: Three passengers among those killed in the Trishuli bus plunge have been identified. The deceased are Rajnarayan Rauniyar, his wife Shobha Rauniyar and his nephew Saurab Rauniyar of Brahma Rural Municipality-4, Sarlahi, police confirmed.

Four people died while 16 others sustained injuries as a passenger bus, Na 6 Kha 7469, heading to Kathmandu from Sarlahi veered off the road and plunged into the Trishuli River on Friday morning. Over 20 passengers are missing in the river.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Gajuri Primary Health Center and Community Hospital Malekhu said SP Rajkumar Baidabar, chief of District Police Office, Dhading.

Security personnel from Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force are carrying out rescue work.

According to police, around 45 people were traveling in the ill-fated bus that fell into the river at Salanghat of Rorang Rural Municipality at 3 am today.

The cause of the accident is not known
