No interference in investigation: DPM Shrestha



CHITWAN: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha has said that the government has come out against corruption, disorder, and corruption in all its forms.

In a press conference held by Press Center Nepal today in Chitwan’s Bharatpur, he made it clear that the government has initiated the process of action against the culprits based on facts and evidence and has left the police free in the investigation process.

Home Minister Shrestha said that no one wants someone to be arrested, but he will be arrested based on the facts. Stating that there may be delays during the investigation, he said that the investigation has not been stopped in any case.

The government is currently investigating the Fake Bhutanese Refugees, Lalita Niwas Scam, and loan-sharking cases with special priority.
