Lingden declares start of people’s movement for ‘systemic change’

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chair Rajendra Lingden on Thursday announced the beginning of what he called a “people’s movement” aimed at changing the current political system of Nepal.

Addressing a royalist rally at Ratna Park in Kathmandu, Lingden appealed to citizens across the country to actively participate in the campaign.

He said political transformation is essential to address the deepening crisis in governance and national direction.

“This is the first true people’s movement being launched for Nepal by Nepali citizens,” Lingden declared. “I sincerely call on all Nepalis to support, cooperate, and participate in this shared struggle.”
