RSP website hacked

KATHMANDU: The hacker group ‘Gen-Z Rising Nepal’ has reportedly breached the website of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), led by Rabi Lamichhane.

The group used an SQL injection attack to post their message within the party’s ‘Press Release’ section.

According to the hackers, the attack was in retaliation for RSP’s role during the Gen-Z protests on September 8 and 9, when the party allegedly helped Lamichhane, who was imprisoned at Nakhu Jail, secure release.

The message left on the website specifically targeted Lamichhane, reading: “Neither forgive nor forget.”
