KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a person in possession of over Rs 200 million in cash from the Jhor area of Tokha Municipality-1.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramesh Basnet, the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku, conducted the operation last night and seized the cash from a truck bearing the number Na 1 Kha 1652.

The confiscated amount reportedly includes Nepali rupees, US dollars, euros, and various other foreign currencies. However, the identity of the arrested individual has not yet been disclosed.
