KATHMANDU: Police have arrested nine people for allegedly gambling at a restaurant in Baluwatar, Kathmandu, on Friday. Police seized nine decks of playing cards, Rs. 685,000 in cash and 10 mobile phones from the premises.
Superintendent of Police Dan Bahadur Thapa of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, confirmed the arrests and the seizure of the items. Further investigation is underway.
