KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP Nepal) Chair Kamal Thapa has said the responsibility of completing the unfinished agenda of the Gen-Z youth movement has now fallen on nationalist forces.
Addressing a gathering of the former police council affiliated with RPP Nepal, Thapa said there is growing public frustration and resentment toward the Nepali Congress and communist parties, prompting people to search for an alternative. He claimed that only nationalist forces have the capacity to emerge as that alternative.
Stressing the need for unity, Thapa said unification among nationalist forces has become an urgent necessity. He further stated that efforts toward unity between the Rastriya Prajatantra Party and RPP Nepal are progressing positively and should not be delayed any longer.
“There are no disputes left between us. Party cadres, supporters, and well-wishers are concerned about the delay in unification,” Thapa said, adding, “There has been a delay, but I am optimistic that the process will be concluded soon.”
Thapa also claimed that nationalist forces would become the largest political force if unity is achieved. He argued that recent developments have strengthened the possibility of restoring the monarchy and establishing a Hindu state.
The program, chaired by Former Police Council President Harihar Shrestha, also saw dozens of retired police personnel join RPP Nepal.
