Indian envoy calls on Minister Dahal

KATHMANDU: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava has called on Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Devendra Dahal at the ministry on Thursday.

During the meeting, the Indian Ambassador expressed his concerns to the Nepal-India railway, while sharing the Indian government’s readiness to provide training to human resources for the operation and management of the rail service.

On the occasion, Minister Dahal appreciated the contributions made by the Indian government to Nepal’s railway service and other development efforts.

Minister Dahal’s secretariat said that the Minister and Indian Ambassador expressed confidence for further deepening Nepal-India relations in the future.

Secretary at the Ministry Keshav Kumar Sharma, Director General of Railway Department Ajaya Kumar Mul, Director General of Department of Roads Ramhari Pokharel and other officials were present at the meeting.
