Gold price increases by Rs 1,600 per tola today

KATHMANDU: The price of gold, which rose by Rs 2,200 per tola yesterday (Wednesday), has seen another significant increase today.

The price has gone up by Rs 1,600 per tola today, while silver has also become more expensive.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Federation, the price of gold has reached Rs 168,500 per tola today. Yesterday, the price was Rs 166,900 per tola.

After rising by Rs 1,900 rupees per tola last Tuesday and Rs 2,200 per tola on Wednesday, the price of gold has increased by Rs 1,600 today.

Following two days of stability earlier this week, the price of gold has been on the rise for the past three days.

The price of silver has also gone up by Rs 5 per tola today, reaching Rs 1,980 per tola, up from Rs 1,975 per tola yesterday.
