Govt reform centre to be established at OPMCM

MAHENDRANAGAR: CPN-UML General-Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has announced plans to establish a Government Reform Centre at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM).

The initiative aims to advance the national aspiration of a “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali” through improved governance.

Speaking to journalists in Janakpurdham today, General-Secretary Pokhrel emphasized the necessity of the Centre for enhancing service delivery and streamlining government operations to better serve the nation and its citizens.

He disclosed that preparations are underway to set up the Centre at the OPMCM, along with its units in every government office.

According to Pokhrel, this step aligns with the current government’s commitment to fulfilling public expectations under the coalition of two major political parties.

Pokhrel further claimed that government entities are now delivering services more effectively than in the past.

He also highlighted an improved investment climate in the country as a positive outcome of recent efforts.
