KATHMANDU: Home Minister and Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane, has made a firm commitment to apprehend GB Rai, irrespective of his whereabouts, amidst allegations of cooperative fraud implicating both Lamichhane and Rai.

Speaking at a party event held in Kalimati on Saturday, Minister Lamichhane reaffirmed his determination to ensure Rai’s arrest, whether he is hiding within the country or abroad.

Lamichhane expressed concern over his name being linked to Rai’s activities, emphasizing that any association he had with Rai ceased upon his departure from Galaxy Television.

Acknowledging their past relationship during their time at Galaxy Television, Lamichhane clarified that their association ended upon his departure from the company.

Furthermore, Lamichhane emphasized his commitment to ensuring the full recovery of funds from the cooperative, including accrued interest, asserting that he will not rest until justice is served.
