NC calls for active participation in upcoming General Convention

LALITPUR: Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Paudel has called on all party members, supporters, and well-wishers, both at home and abroad, to participate enthusiastically in the party’s 15th General Convention.

He said the convention, scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from October 2 to 5, will provide an important opportunity to strengthen the party’s organizational structure and advance its political agenda.

Speaking after a meeting of the party’s Central Working Committee on Sunday, General Secretary Paudel expressed gratitude to all those who actively contributed to the membership distribution, renewal, and updating processes.

He said the deadlines for these activities had been extended several times, while the schedule for ward-level conventions was also revised to ensure that no active member was deprived of the opportunity to participate.

Paudel also acknowledged the contributions of party members who, despite not participating in the special convention, have remained engaged in the convention process at all levels, from the central committee to the grassroots.
