Gold prices continue to rise for fourth consecutive day



KATHMANDU: Gold prices have seen a consistent increase today, continuing a trend that began last Monday in the Nepali market.

Yesterday (Wednesday), the price of gold rose by Rs 900, reaching Rs 163,000 per tola.

Today, it has increased by an additional one thousand rupees, bringing the price to Rs 164,000 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers.

On Tuesday, the price had also risen by Rs 2,000 per tola, while last Monday saw an increase of Rs 1000 per tola.

On October 31, gold prices hit an all-time high, reaching Rs 171,000 per tola.

Since then, prices had dropped by Rs 11 thousand, settling at Rs 160,000 over two weeks.

However, gold prices have started to climb again over the past four days.

In contrast, the price of silver remains stable today, trading at Rs 1950n per tola, as reported by the Federation.
