Swarnim Wagle emphasizes clear development priorities



KATHMANDU, March 14: Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Vice President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has called upon the government to establish unequivocal development priorities grounded in objective realities while formulating the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

Addressing today’s session of the House of Representatives, Dr. Wagle highlighted the importance of setting clear developmental objectives during discussions on the principles and priorities of the appropriation bill for the next fiscal year.

He expressed concerns over the government’s proposal, stating that it lacks a cohesive vision for development and features scattered priorities.

Dr. Wagle emphasized the necessity of formulating a clear national agenda for nation-building, aligned with sustainable development goals.

He underscored the importance of re-industrialization and transitioning towards a green economy, stressing the need for courage and determination to revitalize the economy.
