KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli has conveyed his greetings to all Nepali brothers and sisters in honor of the Chhath festival, a sacred occasion dedicated to Sun worship.

He shared his best wishes through social media, highlighting the deep connection between nature, humanity, and other life forms with the sun.

He noted that the measurement of time is based on the planets orbiting the sun. PM Oli emphasized that the sun has been revered as a deity by our ancestors for centuries.

“Our ancestors have worshiped the sun as a divine being since ancient times. I extend my warm wishes to everyone celebrating this sacred festival of Sun worship,” his message stated.
