KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place today.
The meeting will begin with a discussion on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill (excluding tax proposals). A meeting has been scheduled for 11 am.
Following the discussion on the principles and priorities of the budget, the government is set to present the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 on Jestha 15 (May 29).
Before the discussion on the Appropriation Bill begins, a proposal will be tabled to consider the report of the House of Representatives Rules Drafting Committee 2083.
The proposal is listed in the possible agenda to be presented by committee chair Ganesh Parajuli.
