KATHMANDU: The road blocked by a landslide at Jhyaple River in Dhading has been reopened for two-way traffic. The road, which had been closed since 12 PM for repairs, was cleared a short while ago.

Initially, the road remained completely blocked until 2 PM, and repairs began shortly afterward. After several hours of work, traffic has now resumed in both directions.

During the closure, vehicles heading out of Kathmandu were stuck in a long traffic jam at Nagdhunga. With the road now cleared, traffic is slowly being allowed to proceed, though the police have urged drivers to remain cautious and avoid lane-crossing to ensure smooth movement.
