Applications invited for vacant Vice-Chancellor posts at health science academies



KATHMANDU: Applications have been invited for the appointment of vacant Vice-Chancellor (VC) positions in several health science academies across Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the call for applications has been opened for VC posts at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, National Academy of Medical Sciences, Patan Academy of Health Sciences, Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, Rapti Academy of Health Sciences, and B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.

The selection and recommendation committee formed to nominate candidates for the positions has announced the vacancy call in line with the “Integrated Procedure for Selection and Recommendation of Vice-Chancellors of Health Science Academies,” which was approved on May 14.

The ministry said interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications within 10 days from the date of first publication of the notice through the application link available on the ministry’s official website.

The committee has stated that the process will be conducted in accordance with the approved guidelines to ensure a transparent and structured selection of Vice-Chancellors.
