KATHMANDU: Chief Justice of Supreme Court Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha has said that judicial good governance has begun with the inception of automation on hearings of cases.

Marking the beginning of the automation of the hearing management system at the Supreme Court this afternoon, the Chief Justice said that the adoption of technology to determine the justices on hearing of cases would ensure accessibility and judicial good governance in justice management.

“This system has created an environment for confidence for the court’s employees and service recipients. Process for reform has advanced,” the Chief Justice added.

On the occasion, Chief Justice Shrestha asked the officials to work with high morale.

The Chief Justice also added that the automation system would be applied in another layer of courts if it achieved success at the Supreme Court.
