NC President Deuba leaves for Singapore for treatment



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba left here for Singapore last night for a health checkup.

Deuba flew to Singapore for a routine health checkup, said his personal secretary Bhanu Deuba.

It may be noted that Deuba had availed treatment in Singapore some years ago after he suffered from abdominal complications.

Deuba is accompanied by his personal secretary Bhanu Deuba.

The septuagenarian leader could not avail of routine follow-up since he remained occupied in the party’s national convention and election of various tiers held under his leadership.
