Festivals help maintain mutual harmony: President Paudel



KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has expressed his hope that Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival would help inspire the human community for good deeds by uniting our multi-ethnic, multilingual and multicultural society through religious tolerance and mutual harmony.

In a message today on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami or the auspicious day of birth of Lord Krishna, President Paudel has extended his best wishes for happiness, peace and good health to all Nepali sisters and brothers living in the country and abroad.

Hindus around the world celebrate this festival with reverence and devotion to Lord Krishna, the founder of Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga.

In the message, President Paudel has also said he wished that Shrikrishna Janmashtami inspires all Nepalis to build a civilized and cultured society by enhancing mutual harmony, kindness, moral conduct, compassion and fraternity.
