Police Character Certificate verification goes fully online from Sunday

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ consular service department has announced the implementation of a complete online verification system for police character certificates starting this Sunday.

Following a directive from Foreign Minister NP Saud, the Consular Service Department made the decision to shift the entire verification process to an online platform, marking a significant step towards digitalization.

The official inauguration of the online verification system is scheduled to take place at the Consular Service Department’s office in Tripureshwar on Sunday, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs presiding over the event.

This move is expected to streamline the process of verifying police character certificates for various purposes, promising increased efficiency and convenience for both applicants and authorities.
