KATHMANDU: Anita Giri, who has acted in about a dozen music videos, is now preparing to appear on the big screen. A country girl from Simpani, Khotang has has been working continuously in the field of art for the past 6 years attempting to establish her career more firmly now.
She was interested in acting and dancing from a young age. The same passion for art drove her for the career in screen. she has acted skillfully in the videos of songs like ‘Sajaye Timro Maya’, ‘Lagan Juryo Gharbar Hunlai’, ‘Timro Saath’, ‘Care Gardeinau’, ‘Timilai Bhulna’ etc.
Acting in music videos has rewarded her in many ways. She has received some awards. Now she is debuting with Vicky Maharjan’s movie ‘The Outer Layer’. Anita, who has acted in many commercials such as Odonil, Dairymilk, Nepal Ice, etc., has also participated in a dozen and a half fashion ramps.
Fully dedicated to acting, she claims that she has the ability to do justice to all types of roles. Anita, who has won praise in music videos and fashion shows, is striving her best to prove her skill in films. Yet she claims that she has come to this field with full preparation.
