KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 18 ‘gamblers’ from a resort in Kathmandu.
18 people were arrested from Dahachowk City View Resort Pvt Ltd operated by Udayaraj Puri near Swissland Park, Nagarjun Municipality-7 last night.
Dineshraj Mainali, SP of District Police Circle, Kathmandu, informed that they were arrested on the charge of gambling.
Police also recovered 3 lakh 82 thousand 595 rupees from them.
Police have initiated further investigation.
