Impeachment Recommendation Committee’s meeting to be held today



KATHMANDU: The Impeachment Recommendation Committee is holding a meeting today as well.

The parliamentarians in Tuesday’s meeting of the Committee viewed that if the report prepared by the Committee formed ahead of election does not get entertained in the parliament, it would be insignificant.

In the previous meeting held on Tuesday, Chair of Committee Ram Bahadur Bista expressed his concern on whether the Committee’s report would be presented in the committee for a decision.

The Committee, formed merely three months before the election, ought to deliver within this period.

The provincial assembly and House of Representatives election are scheduled to be held on November 20 later this year.

Today’s meeting will discuss on the draft of the procedure and mull how to move ahead.
