Koshi govt to provide relief support to families affected by Dewanganj unrest



BIRATNAGAR: The Koshi Provincial Government has decided to provide relief assistance to families affected by the Dewanganj unrest.

According to government spokesperson and Minister for Home Affairs and Law Indramani Parajuli, the provincial government will provide Rs 200,000 in relief assistance to each family of those who lost their lives in the incident.

The government has also announced Rs 50,000 in relief support for families of those injured in the unrest, as well as for families affected by fire damage to homes, shops, and other property.

The decision was taken during the provincial Cabinet meeting held today.
