As many as 190,000 people visit CNP in one year

CHITWAN: As many as 190,458 people visited Chitwan National Park (CNP) in the last fiscal year of 2078/79.

Tourists from different countries visit Chitwan to see the rare one-horned rhinoceros.

According to the CNP management, tourists from SAARC countries, foreign countries, and even domestic visitors come to CNP for jeep safari and boat safari inside the Park.

According to the park, 155,671 Nepali tourists visited CNP last year.

Similarly, 19 thousand 979 tourists from SAARC countries and 14 thousand 808 tourists from outside SAARC countries visited CNP.

Nepalese tourists have to pay Rs 150, while tourists from SAARC countries have to pay Rs 500 to enter the CNP.

Likewise, tourists from outside SAARC countries have to pay Rs 2000.

CNP Information Officer Ganesh Prasad Tiwari informed that the park earned Rs 7 crore 29 lakh 45 thousand 650 rupees from tourists visiting the park last year.
