Students studying in China allowed to return



KATHMANDU: China has decided to allow students who have been stranded in Nepal for a long time due to COVID-19 outbreak to enter the country.

Issuing a notice on its website, the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu has informed that the Chinese government has allowed students from South Asian countries including Nepal to return to study in China.

According to the Embassy, the foreign students who have business visas in China and valid study residence permits are allowed to enter China.

The students who had been stranded in Nepal leaving their university classes in China due to COVID-19 outbreak will be benefitted from the decision.

Many students studying in China had been missing their classes due to the strict provisions Chinese government had imposed ‘to curb’ the pandemic.
