Govt ready to assist private sector for investment: Minister Karki



KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology and spokesperson of the government, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, has said government was ready to bring legal, procedural and policy level reforms to encourage private sectors in investment.

Minister Karki viewed the existing economic policy of the country had paved way for government to prepare basic infrastructures and for private sectors to expand infrastructures, and augment production and service.

“As per projection of periodic plan, private sector constitutes 60 percent of the total investment in Nepal,” Minister Karki reminded, adding that government was ready to facilitate role of private sector for expansion of infrastructures and production.

The views to be delivered at this event will be useful for Nepal’s holistic development, he hoped.
