Madheshi Commission cautions against use of invective



KATHMANDU: The Madheshi Commission has cautioned one and all to avoid inhumane, unconstitutional and illegal act that is happening by writing on social sites to destabilize social harmony targeting the Madheshi community in the past few days.

The Commission has said complaints were received to the Commission about the use of derogatory terms by some people on social sites.

The Commission is serious about the possibility of destabilization of even the national unity from such illegal acts, it added.

In response to the complaints, the Commission has said that recommendation was made by writing to the concerned authorities to book and take stern actions against those individuals.

Asking one and all not to engage in such inhumane, unconstitutional and illegal act, the Commission has cautioned all not to commit such act which are subject to action as per the existing laws of Nepal.

One can lodge complaints as per the Madheshi Commission Act 2074 (7) against the individuals and organizations that target the Madeshi community or breach the rights of the Madheshi community.
