Govt not disappointed: Minister Gurung



KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Parbat Gurung said on Friday that the government won’t get disappointed from any of the political ups and downs happening in the country.

At a program organized here to mark the 83rd birth anniversary of senior musician late Ambar Gurung, Minister Gurung said that the incumbent government would work unhindered without getting confused in any of the issues.

“The KP Sharma Oli-led government will work to safeguard nation and nationality, and advance the country to the right destination,” he stated.

On the occasion, Minister Gurung urged one and all to make their best possible contributions for the nation’s development, prosperity, and transformation, adding that the government was committed to the nation’s development and prosperity.

Regarding the Supreme Court’s verdict on the restoration of the Parliament, he said the government has moved ahead by accepting the SC’s verdict.

During the program, State Minister for Urban Development Rambir Manandhar was honored for keeping his Guinness World Record for continuously singing for more than four hours.

Likewise, the late musician’s elder son Kishor’s book on Ghatu Dance was also released.
