Prohibitory order extended by a week in Kathmandu Valley



KATHMANDU: The prohibitory order in Kathmandu Valley has been extended by one week till June 21.

A meeting of Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur Sunday decided on a one-week extension to the ongoing order by relaxing some restrictions. The current order is set to expire on June 14.

The meeting decided to allow retail shops and book stores to open till 11 am. It also allowed the opening of electric and hardware stores after 4 pm. Likewise, delivery of food, goods and services of online businesses and hotels and restaurants will be allowed from 7 am.

The CDOs decided to facilitate agricultural activities and visa applications.
