4th national convention of Press Centre Nepal from Dec 4



KATHMANDU: The fourth national convention of the Press Centre Nepal is taking place from December 4 in Chitwan.

All the preparation for the two-day national convention has reached the final phase.

Around 900 representatives would participate in the convention. CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is scheduled to inaugurate the convention.

The convention would amend the statute and elect new leadership for three years.

There are now 260 members in the central committee of the Centre. Central Treasurer, Suresh Chandra Adhikari, said that preparation has been made to reduce the size of the central committee by amending the statute.
