KATHMANDU: A couple died of suffocation in a sauna at a gym center in Lalitpur.
Hasta Bahadur Gurbuja Magar, the personal secretary of former Minister Tham Maya Thapa, and his wife Netra Kumari Pun died of suffocation at the Satdobato-based Fit and Fine Gym Center’s sauna last night, Lalitpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Durga Singh said.

They were found at an unconscious state inside the sauna. They breathed their last while on the way to the hospital. They were declared dead by doctors at the Patan Hospital.
The couple used to regularly visit the gym center.
Further investigation is underway.
