Govt allocates Rs 8.66 billion for railway, transportation



KATHMANDU: The government has allocated a total of Rs 8.66 billion for railway transportation.

Unveiling the budget for the fiscal year 2020/21, Finance Minister Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada said Nepal’s own ship will also be started to bring imported goods from the seaports of India.

Likewise, the construction of the Gautam Buddha International Airport will be completed within the next one year.

The government has also allocated Rs 19.42 billion for the Tribhuvan international Airport.
