‘Government and private sector employees will be encouraged to travel’

KATHMANDU: The government has announced to encourage civil servants and private sector employees to travel inside the country in order to promote domestic tourism as soon as the risk of coronavirus is over.

Unveiling the budget in the Parliament on Thursday, Finance Minister Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada said that large tourism infrastructure will be developed in all the states.

Government has allocated Rs 1.26 billion for the promotion of tourism.

Similarly, Government is also providing facilities including tax, fees and interest. He said that tourism subject will be included in the above secondary level education.
