Govt allocates Rs 1.14 billion to Ministry for Women and Children



KATHMANDU: The government has allocated a total of Rs 1.14 billion for the Ministry of Women and Children.

Presenting the fiscal budget for 2020/21, Finance Minister Dr Yubraj Khatiwada said that the President Women Upliftment Program will be encouraged.

He said that the government will provide access to health service through helicopter to pregnant woman.

According to him, women will be encouraged toward entrepreneurship, and child labor will be abolished from the country.
