KATHMANDU: Newly elected Speaker Agni Sapkota urged one and all not to hurry about Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) saying that the discussions are still underway on the issue.

Assuming the post after being sworn in as Speaker on Monday, Sapkota said it is early to make comments about MCC as the discussions on the issue have not yet concluded.

“‘When the discussions begin on any issue, the conclusion will not be far away. Why jump to a conclusion when the talks are still underway?” asked Sapkota.

“The demonstration in a democratic system is a continuous process,” Sapkota said in response to journalists’ questions on Monday.
