Man held with 21 tolas of gold in Mohottari



MAHOTTARI: A team of Armed Police Force (APF) rounded up a man with 21 tolas of gold from Matihani municipality-8 in the district on Sunday night.

The arrested is 23-year-old Deepak Mahato of Mukhiyapatti Musaharniya rural municipality-4, said Police Inspector Himal Thapa.

Police intercepted a car with Ba 12 Pa 5076 during a security check and nabbed Mahato with the gold being smuggled to India.

The seized bullion is priced at Rs 1,624,606. Armed Police Office.
