Olympics on hold over coronavirus pandemic

KATHMANDU: With the deadly virus going pandemic across the world, sports sector has also been badly affected.

Most of the sports-related programs have been hit. The mega sports Olympics has also been scheduled for this year.

It has been originally scheduled for July 24 to August 9 in Tokyo , the capital city of Japan, but it is not certain whether it will be held as scheduled.

Canada and Australia have already warned the host country that they will not send their players if the date is not postponed.

However, host Japan seems unwilling to postpone the date.
