SINDHULI: A car carrying passengers has gone missing after plunging into the Sunkoshi River from Fikkal in Sindhuli.
The vehicle fell into the river from Nawalpur of Fikkal Rural Municipality-2 at around 11:30 am on Monday. The exact number of passengers in the car has not yet been confirmed.
However, Superintendent of Police Rabindra Bahadur Singh of the District Police Office, Sindhuli, said police had received information that there were three to four people in the vehicle.
Singh said that they have received information that the car has completely submerged in the river. Further investigation is underway, he added.
