Lawmaker Thapa proposes contribution of one-month salary



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader and lawmaker Gagan Thapa has proposed contributing one-month salary of each lawmaker to the coronavirus fund set up by the government.

Lawmaker Thapa on Monday took to Twitter urging lawmakers and other people to contribute to the fund as per their capacity.

He has also re-assured support to the government’s efforts to prevent COVID-19.

Thapa has also urged the government to assure that it would leave no stone unturned to take care of the people in trouble due to possible outbreak of COVID-19.
