Indefinite prohibitory orders in Dhangadi amid COVID-19 fear

DHANGADI: The District Administration Office, Dhangadi has issued an indefinite prohibitory order in Kailali district from 2 pm today.

The decision to this effect has been taken to prevent and tackle the novel coronavirus spread in the district.

Chief District Officer (CDO) Yagya Raj Bohara issued the prohibitory orders, which will bar people from coming out of their houses until further notice.

“All industries, factories, and market areas will remain closed,” said CDO Bohara in the statement, adding, “The decision has been made to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” he said.

Likewise, the local authorities have also sealed two border entry points with India at Gaddachauki and Gaurifant.
