Improvised bombs found in Dhangadhi defused



KAILALI:  Pressure cooker bombs planted at three different places in Dhangadhi have been defused safely.

A bomb disposal team of Nepal Army defused the improvised bombs, said District Police Office, Kailali.

The bombs had been placed near the Ministry of Social Development of Sudurpashchim Pradesh, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Development and LN Chowk, said SP Pratik Bista of DPO, Kailali.

Pressure cooker bombs had been tied with a tape from outside and a wire was connected to it, said Bista.

Similarly, suspicious objects were found near the office of Lamkichuha municipality. A bomb disposal team of Nepal Army has left for the incident site.
