Youth arrested with homemade pistol in Dhanusha



JANAKPURDHAM: Dhanusha Police has arrested a youth with a homemade pistol from Janakpurdham on Monday afternoon.

According to DSP Rameshwor Karki, Spokesperson of District Police Office Dhanusha, police have arrested a youth carrying an unauthorized pistol near Janaki Secondary School.

“The police were suspicious over the strange behavior of the youth named Sunil Kumar Adhikari at Janakpur Sub Metropolitan City-9 based Janaki Secondary School,” DSP Karki reported, “ When the police checked the youth walking near the school, they got a homemade pistol from him.”

DSP Karki informed that Adhikari who hails from Haripurwa-8 Basatpur had been living in a rented room at Janakpurdham-8 Bajaranga Chowk.

The police are investigating further to explore the network.
